Nested While
A while loop inside of the while loop.
Example 1
- Example scenario: In a week of 7 days, I will eat 3 Meals per day.
nested-while.py
py
day = int(1)
while day <= 7:
print(f"day {day}")
meal_in_a_day = int(1)
while meal_in_a_day <= 3:
print(f"Meal {meal_in_a_day}")
meal_in_a_day += 1
day += 1
print("I've alr eaten 3 meals in a week")Results:

I've alr eaten 3 meals in a weekExample 2
- By using 2
while(nested while) and print continuosly without line break to print a 9 x 9 multiply table.

Similar Pattern
- in
n line, it always start with1 * n= x;2 * n= x;... * n= ...x - if
n = 1, item in arow = 1(n = number of items in a row) max row = 9
nested-while-2.py
let i = row (max i = 9) = (in i row, number of items = i)
py
# 9 x 9 Multiply table
# i = row = (max row = 9)
i = 1
while i <= 9:
j = 1 # items in a row
while j <= i:
print(f"{j}*{i}={i * j}", end=" ")
j += 1
print("")
i += 1INFO
Reference: 9x9 multiply table using for loop method.
Results:
